n8n for Agency Client Delivery: Scripts, Scheduling, Reels, Thumbnails and Reviews

Five n8n automations that help a marketing agency deliver more client content without more staff: AI scripts and captions, multi-platform scheduling, reels from long videos, thumbnails and review replies.

Getting clients is one problem for an agency. Delivering for them every week, on time, without burning out the team is the other. These five n8n automations cover the delivery side, the repeatable content work that eats your team's hours.

1. AI script and caption team

Give it a client's niche and goals. An AI "team" writes reel scripts and captions, then a second AI step grades each script for hook strength, clarity and call to action, and rewrites the weak ones. Your strategist reviews a shortlist instead of starting from a blank page.

2. Client multi-platform scheduler

One Google Sheet per client is the content calendar. Every five minutes, the workflow posts videos that are due to Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok through a posting API, writes the post links back and confirms on Telegram.

3. Reels generator from long videos

The client sends a podcast or a long YouTube video. The workflow turns it into short captioned clips, and each clip goes for approval before it's saved, so nothing off-brand gets posted.

4. AI thumbnail designer

Send a video title and the workflow produces a thumbnail in the style that performs for that topic, using gpt-image-1. Reply with a change ("make the text bigger") to edit only that part.

5. Client reviews and reply manager

The workflow collects new reviews for each client, AI drafts a polite on-brand reply in the reviewer's language, and low ratings alert the account manager immediately.

How an agency uses this

  • More clients per team member, because the repetitive work is automated.
  • Faster turnaround: scripts, clips and thumbnails arrive the same day.
  • Fewer mistakes: scheduling from a sheet with a status column prevents double posts and missed posts.
  • A premium service tier: "we manage your reviews" is easy to sell and easy to deliver.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Posting without approval. Keep a human approval step for anything published on a client's account.
  • One sheet for all clients. Separate calendars per client make mistakes much less likely.
  • Ignoring failed posts. Log every failure and alert the team. Platforms sometimes reject a video.

Frequently asked questions

Can one n8n workflow handle many clients?

Yes. The workflows read from per-client sheets and settings, so the same workflow can serve several clients.

Will clients need to share passwords?

No. Platforms connect through official authorisation (OAuth) in the posting service, and API keys stay in n8n credentials.

Is this for big agencies only?

No. Freelance social media managers often get the most value, because they handle everything alone.

Do I need coding?

No. You import the workflows and connect your accounts. Prompts and settings can be copy-pasted from the ebook.
