5 n8n Automations for Branding Agencies: Identity, Brand Books, Audits and Proposals
Five n8n automations for branding studios: turn a one-line brief into a logo, palette and moodboard, send brand-book PDFs, audit any website, find clients and send priced proposals.
Branding studios sell creative work, but a lot of the week goes into work that isn't creative at all: first drafts, guideline documents, audits for pitches, prospecting and proposals. These five n8n automations take over that part, so your designers can spend their time on the work clients pay for.
1. Brand identity generator from a one-line brief
Send a Telegram bot a short brief, for example "organic skincare brand for young women in India, calm and premium". The workflow turns it into a starting identity: logo concepts, a colour palette, font pairings and a moodboard. Treat it as a fast first draft for a discovery call, not the final design.

2. Brand guidelines / brand-book PDF
Once the direction is approved, a second workflow assembles a clean brand-book PDF: logo usage, colours with codes, typography and tone of voice. It's emailed to the client automatically. Clients get a professional document the same day.
3. Brand audit agent
Give it any website URL. The agent reviews the brand presence (consistency, messaging, visuals, trust signals) and produces a scored audit with clear recommendations. It's useful for your own clients, and it's an excellent door-opener when pitching new ones.
4. Client acquisition engine
The workflow finds businesses that are likely to need branding, for example local companies with weak or inconsistent visual identity, using Google Maps data from Apify. It scores them and saves the best prospects to a sheet with the details you need for outreach.
5. Discovery call to branding proposal
After a discovery call, the notes go in and a structured, priced proposal comes out: scope, deliverables, timeline and investment, formatted and emailed to the prospect. You review the numbers before anything is sent.
Why these five work together
- The audit gives you a reason to contact a prospect.
- The acquisition engine gives you prospects worth auditing.
- The identity generator makes discovery calls concrete ("here's a first direction").
- The proposal goes out while the call is still fresh.
- The brand book delivers a polished result quickly after the sale.
What you need
| Tool | Used for |
|---|---|
| n8n | Runs every workflow |
| OpenAI (with image generation) | Identity concepts, audits, proposals |
| Telegram bot | Briefs and approvals |
| Apify | Prospect data from Google Maps |
| Gmail | Sending brand books and proposals |
| Google Sheets + Drive | Prospects, logs and files |
Mistakes to avoid
- Presenting AI concepts as final work. Use them to speed up direction-setting, then design properly.
- Sending proposals without review. Always check the pricing and scope before the email goes out.
- Mass outreach. Send fewer, well-researched messages. An audit is a personal reason to reach out.
Frequently asked questions
Can n8n generate logos?
n8n can call AI image models to produce logo concepts and moodboards from a brief. These are best used as quick starting points for discussion, not as final logos.
Can it create a PDF brand book automatically?
Yes. The workflow fills a designed HTML template with the brand's details and converts it to PDF, then emails it.
Is this useful for a solo designer?
Yes. Freelancers benefit the most, because these workflows cover the admin and sales work a solo designer normally does alone.
Do I need coding?
No. You import the workflows, connect your accounts and edit your studio details and prices in the prompts.
All five workflows are explained node by node, with ready JSON and setup videos, in our Branding Agency n8n ebook.
